Who we are
This website and our courses are run by English With Jaleel Sir. You can reach us at jalilrmd340@gmail.com.
Our website and learning platform are provided by Paatya, which stores and processes information on our behalf and only as we instruct.
What we collect
- When you send us an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the course you asked about, and your message.
- When we enrol you on a course, or you create an account yourself: your name, email address and mobile number, and any other details we agree with you.
- When you buy a course on this website: what you bought, the price, the payment's status and reference, your receipt and any refund. You pay on Razorpay's checkout: your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay and are not kept by us or by Paatya.
- While you learn: your progress through each course, your quiz answers and scores, and the certificates you earn. While you watch a lesson video, your name and the last four digits of your mobile number (or your email) are shown faintly over it, to discourage recording and sharing; only you see it, on your own screen.
- To protect your account: when and from which device you sign in, and wrong-password attempts. After several in a row, signing in is paused for a short while.
- When you visit this website: basic technical information such as your browser and the pages you view. Where you agree to it, we also measure visits with analytics cookies — see our Cookie Policy.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and tell you about the course you asked about.
- To give you access to your courses, save your progress and issue your certificates.
- To take payment for a course you buy, give you a receipt, and handle any refund.
- To keep the website secure and working, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who can see it
Our teachers and the people who run English With Jaleel Sir can see your enquiries, your progress and your results. Other students cannot. Paatya processes the information on our behalf to run the platform. When you buy a course, your name, email address and mobile number are passed to Razorpay, which takes the payment, and Razorpay and Paatya keep the payment records the law requires. We may share information if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need to answer them and follow up. We keep your learning records for as long as you have an account with us, and for a reasonable time afterwards so that your certificates can still be verified.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to jalilrmd340@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
